Dedicated tuition service
I decided to retire from environmental consultancy at Christmas 2014, to become a dedicated private tutor. I started giving private tuition nearly 4 years ago, initially just offering a cautious Environmental Science and Biology at A- and Degree-level. In year 2 I expanded that to include Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE-level. And started to get busy. In year 3 I added Maths at GCSE-level and Adult numeracy, e.g. for those facing Maths entrance tests into Nursing. Midwifery etc. I became so busy and was enjoying this so much that I allowed the consultancy side to lapse. Now in year 4, I've decided not to take any more consultancy work direct from the public, and will dedicate my time to tutoring.
