CrossroadsCare Ribble Valley is a specialist organisation providing support to Carers intheir own homes, giving Carers time to be themselves.As a memberof the association of Crossroads, we work within a framework of nationalpolicies, procedures and standards to ensure a high quality service to Carersand the people they care for.We provide arange of services for carers and the people they support which enable carers tohave a life of their own outside caring. Our service is flexible, high qualityand tailored to meet the particular needs of the Carer, the people they supportand the wider family unit.Our trainedCarer Support Workers go into the home and take over the Carers caringresponsibilities. All Carer Support Workers are fully trained and have CRBclearance. They will undertake the tasks carried out by the carer which mayinclude, bathing, feeding, mobility, medication, shopping. We may also be ableto carry out more specialised care tasks.
