Reclaimed Balinese Boat Bookcase
Fancy a trip to Bali? A truly unique, handcrafted and decorated reclaimed Balinese boat bookcase made from original Bali barks, old intaran and teak wood that have been reconstructed. Ethically sourced from Bali, the boats are no longer seaworthy and would ordinarily be burnt to make room for new fishing boats. However a small selection have been crafted into stunning bookcases and painted using traditional local skills adding a touch of exotic charm to a study or library and creating value for local Balinese fishing communities. Every colourful bookcase is different and supplies are limited. These bookcases are anything but boring.
