Peter qualified in 1966 with a BDS from St Andrews University. He has worked in oral surgery at Dundee Dental Hospital, and at St Bartholomew's London, he has taught at Edinburgh and Dundee Dental Hospitals, and at Guy's, London.

In 1970 he became a Dental Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

In 1980 Peter turned to dental practice and after a year in Dundee moved into the South Street Practice. 

The practice now deals with all aspects of Dental Surgery however Peter has a special interest in Root Canal Therapy
