The Corrymeela Community was founded in 1965 by the Rev Dr Ray Davey assisted by a group of students from Queen's University The Corrymeela Community strives to embody these values in every aspect of our lives Our vision is of a peaceful and sustainable society based on social justice, positive relationships and respect for diversity Corrymeela Ballycastle seeks to be an open village where encounter, truth telling and hospitality are expressed as we contemplate and live out what it means to embrace difference, heal divisions and enable reconciliation These people represent some of the diversity that we are committed to making space for elsewhere in our civic and public spaces
