Our family has lived and farmed here for over four generations keeping alive our tradition of farming the land as well as producing award winning real Jesrey Dairy Ice Cream made the way our ancestors did over a hundred years before In 2003 we ceased selling milk to our local dairy and decreased the herd size so we could process all our own milk, it was also in this year that we launched what was Birchfield Farm Shop, this enabled us to grow, rear and produce products which we could then sell direct to the consumer Over the years many changes have occured, we have diversified from intensive farming to a more traditional and rewarding way of life Watch out for us at events this summer and come try some of our ice cream and choose from over 30 flavours
