Reproduction Antique Picture Frames & Mirror Frames
Sudbury Picture Frames specialise in the manufacture of reproduction period/antique frames from all stages in history.Using techniques passed down through the centuries we endeavour to re-create the hand-crafted frames of a bygone age.All our frames are hand-finished in 22ct Gold Leaf (unless otherwise specified) with an applied patina to ensure a frame finish of the highest quality to suit your artwork be it an oil, watercolour, acrylic, print, photo or textile.Sudbury Picture Frames also frame artwork in a contemporary style. A 'shadow' or 'box' frame with an internal recess for framing three dimensional items, or to set a flat work away from the glass is a classic way to frame artwork to be placed in a more modern setting.Sudbury Picture Frames employ craftspeople that specialise in the restoration of picture frames.Joints, cracks, chips and missing mouldings can be replaced or stabilised by our highly skilled craftspeople at our Suffolk workshop. We can also help with conservation and restoration of paintings in oil and watercolour. Please visit us for a no obligation quotation.
