Science Capital provides networking events that feature R&D directors and research leaders presenting the latest materials, low carbon, biomedical and digital technologies. The meetings attract a mix of business leaders, legal experts and financial advisers as well as scientists, engineers and students. We focus on major challenges and opportunities in the transport, energy, healthcare and computer industries. Through a combination of engaging talks, business plan presentations, lively debate and open discussions, we explore not only the latest scientific advances but also the investment and legal frameworks needed to make them a commercial reality. Formed as a nonprofit organisation in Birmingham in 2010, Science Capital now helps hundreds of individuals realise the commercial and social value of their brilliant ideas.
