Laser Alignment of Long Coupled Pump Sets
The correct and precise alignment of pump shaft coupling and motor drive shaft will save you money! It reduces the energy consumed It reduces vibration levels, which in turn,  increases the mean time between failure and reduces maintenance costs. Misalignment has a direct impact on power consumption. It has been demonstrated that savings ranging from 2 to 17% can be achieved simply by correcting a misaligned pump set. Furthermore, the vibrations caused by a misaligned pump set will greatly increase the risk of premature failure to bearings, couplings and mechanical seals.
