Drive-in Pallet Racking
Drive-in Racking Using minimal space to access aisles and lanes; drive in racking provides a high-density and very space efficient bulk storage system for storing large quantities of the same goods behind or above one another using the First in Last Out (FILO) principle. Fork lifts load pallets onto rails or channels, so that the first pallet into a lane is moved to the back of the aisle to be the last out. With higher storage per cubic metre than any other system type; Drive-in is very suitable for applications such as food cold storage where limited stock rotation is required. The system lends itself to high volume movements of low value products where handling costs are a large percentage of the overall product cost. Narrow Aisle Racking By allowing fork lift trucks to operate in aisles of up to half the width required in conventional adjustable beam pallet racking, Narrow Aisle and very Narrow Aisle racking makes excellent use of floor space and maximizes the height at which goods can be stacked. Using specialised lift trucks in either 'man-down' or 'man-up' variants, narrow aisle racking is precision designed for safe, efficient load handling within the tight confines of these efficient aisles. Using specially designed Narrow Aisle trucks this handling solution can be highly automated using wire or rail guide systems.
