Manchester Thunder Softball Club have kicked off the 2011 season with a real bang winning the Plate Final at the third Manchester Softball League firstball tournament at Parrs Wood in Didsbury We started out as a team of about seven total rookies and a captain with just a few games experience, since 2006 we've grown to a squad of over 60 players in five teams At tournaments we were represented very strongly as a club, from the Mets Firstball in April through to the Solent Lastball in September
