Ferndearle Community aims to provide holistic therapeutic care, education and therapy of which, together, form an integrated package of intervention for traumatised young people whose development has been considerably damaged by their early life experiences The therapeutic work undertaken at Ferndearle is underpinned by the therapeutic standards of the Charterhouse Group of Therapeutic Communities and of Community of Communities It is this integrated therapeutic intervention which underpins the recovery process and which, we believe, leads to internal emotional growth, providing new emotional building blocks from which young people can develop emotionally, educationally and in all aspects of their development
