NoteText CaptionCalls is a new innovative service which enables deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people to participate in live meetings and seminars, video conferencing and conference calls using standard telephony or Skype.Using specialist technology, a qualified captioner delivers live, real-time captions of a conversation to an internet connected laptop, computer, iPhone or BlackBerry located anywhere in the world. For conference calls, the client dials into the call, reads the displayed text and can respond directly to the caller in real-time. A full transcript of the call can be emailed to the client.All Communication Professionals who undertake work through NoteText are registered with NRCPD or The Association of Notetaking Professionals and are bound by the confidentiality requirements thereof.
