Gaskell Mackay offer quality Axminster and tufted carpets including custom carpets for the contract and residential sector, mainly the hospitality and leisure industry. Gaskell Mackay was established by Thomas Gaskell back in 1902. The business continued to grow from strength to strength, and moved into the carpet manufacturing world in 1949. The company continued to run, led by generations of the Gaskell family, establishing themselves in the contract market for felt backed carpets. By 1985, Gaskell Mackay were supplying 1/3 of all contract carpets for pubs and clubs. Today, Gaskell Mackay specialise in bespoke Axminster and tufted carpets for the contract and residential sectors (whilst still providing stock carpets), building on their strengths in design, innovation and passion for quality products. Today we offer full custom axminster carpets as part of our services alongside our Infinity design service which lets you take one of our designs and recolour it using specially selected colour palettes to create a unique carpet to suit your decor or brand. Minimum order for our Infinity range is 20sm2.
