Established in Fife for over 20 years Charis foundation is a non-profit making chariable company limited by guarantee. The foundation has three distinct projects: Charis counselling - free professional counselling covering a wide range of issues, e.g. bereavement/loss, relationship breakdown, depression, anxiety, abuse, trauma debriefCharis training - counselling training and training for the caring professions. Courses include Certificate in counselling skills (CPCAB Level 2), Certificate in counselling studies (CPCAB Level 3) and Diploma in therapeutic counselling (CPCAB Level 4). Charis training will also design and deliver specialist workshops for specific agency needs.Charis retreats - Christian retreats and spiritual direction/faith accompaniment.Charis foundation is located in a RIBA (1999) award winning building and in 2003 the foundation won the Queen's Golden Jubilee Award for 'excellent' services to the community.
