If a short-sighted careers teacher at school had not told me it wasn't 'a proper job' I would have been a photographer many years ago! Having resigned myself to being a self-employed copywriter, my photography ambitions were always bubbling away in the background. The advent of professional series digital SLR cameras made my 'hobby' increasingly interesting and I dreamt of one day taking photos as my full time job. A persistent copywriting client begged me to photograph his daughter's wedding and after refusing for months I eventually gave in just to get some peace! It was the beginning of a new life.....I loved it! In the following few months I photographed another six weddings just through recommendation and we have never looked back.
