Theater DEREVO was established in 1988 by Anton Adasinsky in former Leningrad, now St. Petersburg. Since that time the company has gained many prizes and awards at the best stages and festivals of the world, e.g. Edinburgh festival FRINGE or mime-festival in Perigeux. Present members of the group avoid the words theater, actor, acting. Rather they regard their work as an awareness of a person's existence
