CGP Engineering Ltd design and manufacture steel and aluminium plastic and rubber mould tools. Your tool design is completed using 3D CAD then the 2D drawing are taken directly from there along with a full parts list.Once your tool design is complete and the drawing approved the 3D models are used to machine the cores, cavities and any necessary electrodes. Our time served toolmakers have a range of automatic machinery to hand. They have CNC machining centres, wire eroders, CNC (EDM) spark eroders and grinders to help them use their time as efficiently as possible.Each toolmaker oversees and takes responsibility for the mould he is making. All work is carried out in house (where possible) helping us to 'keep control' of the project. Over the years we have made tools for companies including The Medical House, Opal, Seimens and Khola Mira. CGP make moulds up to the size of 996x596 with a maximum tool weight of 1500Kg. We have made tools from just £1,400 up to £85,000.
