The Power of Art

Art is so much more than paint on board. It can speak to your heart, invoke powerful emotions, conjure long forgotten memories, and take your breath away. I'm Melanie Cormack-Hicks, a fine artist based in Stroud in the beautiful Cotswolds. I create images of the nature and landscapes I love, working from my studio, the woodlands, rivers and meadows that surround it, or the pebbled beaches of the rugged Devon coastline. I capture moments you'll fall in love with and rediscover every day.
