Waynflete Singers are not responsible for information on these external sites Winchester's Waynflete Singers are a jewel in the crown of the city's rich musical life We have performed alongside the Bach Choir in front of tens of thousands at national celebrations in London, at the Queen's Official Golden Jubilee Celebrations in 2002 and again at the official 60th anniversary London commemorations of the ending of World War II in July 2005 We have performed on numerous occasions with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and in March 2007 we were privileged to be directed by Marin Alsop, then principal conductor of the BSO, in a memorable performance of Brahms' Requiem We enjoy links with the London Mozart Players and also with Florilegium, one of Britain's most outstanding period instrument ensembles
