Polo is one of the fastest ball games that exists and boasts to be a glamorous sport of sheer adrenaline, excitement, skills and precision. A game also normally known to be played by playboys, millionaires and royalty however, this is most certainly not the case! Tidworth Polo Club is one of the oldest polo clubs in the country having been home to Military Polo since 1907. Set in the beautiful grounds of Tedworth Park; home to Help for Heroes the club are passionate about supporting the Armed Forces Polo and the continuation to encourage and co-ordinate polo for the three services. Sport within the Armed Forces is critical for morale, welfare and operational effectiveness including able bodied, injured and disabled. Not only can polo be used as developing team spirit, but is also a welcome change from the high level of operational commitments. With this rewarding community team project you too can join the front line of morale boosting and stamp your company mark to a seriously worthwhile project.The Team Mission The club has been home to the forces polo for the last 106 years and we think the last time the club house saw a lick of paint was about the same time ago! The shack building stands within the Help for Heroes grounds looking pretty tired and in need of a makeover! For you this team event is guaranteed to make a difference, delivering benefits and promoting corporate social responsibility.To show appreciation of your valued support to the mission, your day will end watching a game of polo pitch side! Watch a high speed match and stomp the divots at half time! Teams can have a BBQ / Hog Roast and a well earnt chilled beer whilst watching the polo - you will feel rather chuffed at your personal / team achievements!
