The Association of Catholic Nurses (formerly Catholic Nurses Guild) Archdiocese of Birmingham is open to practising and retired nurses, midwives , health visitors,lecturers and healthcare assistants . The organization seeks to provide professional and spiritual support to its members and is accountable to and has members on the national executive of the Association . At national level the Association has representation on the Healthcare Reference Group for the Catholic Church in England and Wales and internationally with CICIAMS the International Catholic Committee of Nurses and Medico-Social Assistants
