Singing for Health and Happiness
I set up Singing for Health and Happiness in June 2016. It gives people the opportunity to come together to improve various health and well-being issues (or none) through song, singing games and accessible breathing exercises. The founder and facilitator's name is Roger Langford, who as well as being a classically trained singer, conductor and teacher, has had 15 years experience running groups for other organisations, such as Parkinsons UK, Alzheimer's Society and MIND. This is NOT a choir. Many people enjoy 'having a sing-song' but do not think they can sing. Whether you sound like a nightingale or a crow does not matter. It really is the taking part that counts, and the enjoyment gained that makes the difference in participant's lives.
