This is a Knowledge Aided Planning and Estimating System that focuses on the areas of Target Costing, Bid Management, Product Cost Estimating and Process Planning (including Process Time Generation from work study and machining data). The information that KAPES produces can then be exported to ERP/MRP systems for production/capacity planning purposes etc., as appropriate.
