Solar Panel Installation
Stormproof Roofing Services have expanded into the growing area of sustainable energy through Roof Solar Panels. The technology of Roof Mounted Solar panels has moved on to the extent that they can even generate electricity here in the West of Scotland with our weather and that is saying something! New generation PV Solar Thermal Panels work with both light and sun and meaning you generate green power for your home and can even contribute electricity back into the grid. 50% of the electricity a household uses each year can be provided by Solar Panels. The cost of installing an average system is approximately £12,000. This generates around 2.7kWp. It also means each year a typical domestic solar panel system saves more than 1tn of CO2 which means 30tns over their average lifetime. Source The Energy Savings Trust.
