Pure is an independent menswear store situated in Aberdeen's west end. Founded in 1994 by two friends, Scott McKenzie who has an extensive career in both retail and wholesale and a local DJ Robin Galloway. Pure was open its first store at No. 1 Huntly Street. After 7 very successful years building up the business in the Huntly Street location Pure moved to its current bricks and mortar location on at the west end of Aberdeen' s main shopping street at 411 Union Street. The ethos has remained the same the design of the store which has by using simple natural materials in simple forms creates a pleasant natural luxury feel giving the store a unique but contemporary feel that compliments rather than over shadows the clothing on display. The aim then as it is now was to create a store we would shop in ourselves a relaxed, informal, friendly shopping environment with no attitude or stress We take pride in bringing interesting brands and designers together, creating the synergy that is PURE. We have stayed true to our original purpose to fuse fashion and anti-fashion bringing together the best of young up and coming designer labels, contemporary fashion brands and unmatched customer service and product knowledge. We stock the brands we love, brands with history, brands with great ideas and brands with great quality essentials for a lifestyle centred around modern function and form.
