Opened in 2012, Oakwood Fisheries (formerly Church View Fisheries) is a pair of well-established and well-stocked fishing lakes in Ingatestone, Essex mid-way between Brentwood and Chelmsford. Conveniently located just off the A12 the lakes are set in beautiful and quiet woodland. Both lakes are approximately 30 years old and set in woodland which provides good cover for the angler with 8 of the swims set back in the woods. We offer excellent swims, a friendly atmosphere, good value and full toilet facilities. Day tickets start at £8 for two rods and membership is from £350 per annum. Our pleasure fishing lake is the Upper of our two lakes and is set in private, peaceful and picturesque Essex woodland. The spring-fed lake is well stocked with carp up to 20 lbs, and there are very decent levels of good roach and rudd, with perch to three pounds also recently having been introduced.
