Argweld® Critical Weld Purge Monitor™
The "ALL NEW" ARGWELD® CRITICAL WELD PURGE MONITOR has been specifically designed for indicating oxygen levels in inert gas for weld purging.This is believed to be the worlds first purpose designed and built Critical Weld Purge MonitorTM, for use during welding of duplex steel pipe joints, orbital tube and pipe welds and chamber welding of titanium, nickel and cobalt alloy and critical stainless steel components.This rugged, HF proof instrument measures and clearly indicates actual oxygen levels down to 10 ppm [0.001%] on an alpha-numeric display.The unit is menu driven by two adjustable buttons on the front panel and has an internal alarm with high and low oxygen levels which can be set on the front panel.It has an AUTOMATIC PUMP for extracting a gas sample where it isn't possible to deliver a constant flow over the sensor.A unique new efficient sensor is used which has very little maintenance requirement and an estimated five year life.An optional Purge Log software package is available, to allow for a computer to be used to store and print results and graphs for quality control purposes.
