Located in Edinburgh's Hight Street - Royal Mile, Bay of Bengal Indian Restaurant has been completely refurbished and renovated to a high standard. A well known family run restaurant established in 1987 it is a favourite venue for both Edinburgh diners and International tourists. Many come back years later and comment on the improvements and special dishes. Close to some of Edinburgh's main Hotels and near to main sites of interest, Bay of Bengal is centrally situated next to the Festival Fringe Office between Edinburgh Castle at one end of the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace at the other. The menu offers traditional exotic Indian, Bangladeshi, Vegetarian and Halal dishes with an experienced top chef?s special recommendations for each selection. Some selected Thai dishes are now available. Special offers are a regular feature with take-aways available at around 15 minutes. Party groups are particularly welcome and the venue is ideal for birthday's, anniversaries, and office functions. Agency and Party organisers are welcome. Lunch menus are now available and during the festival there is all day opening. Some tables are located outside in the Summer.
