Carnkie Camera Club is a lively 'fun' club and we extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in photography, regardless of skills, ability or equipment. We meet each Wednesday in the Carnkie Institute, Carnkie village under the shadow of Carn Brea at 7:00pm. There is no obligation to attend every week !Meetings are largely informal and are lead by an accomplished and experienced photographer with everyone encouraged to participate. A small fee of £3.00 per meeting is made to cover running costs, refreshments and venue hire. We hold regular friendly inter-member themed "competitions", nothing too serious, more an opportunity to good to see other peoples work, discuss various aspects of photography and make new friends. Some meetings will include "hands-on" practical sessions, so bring your camera.The Club has recently acquired an A3 photo printer with a grant from Kerrier Council, all members are welcome to use this with a small charge being made for consumables.
