Exhibition at Ceredigion Museum . Easter 2012
An exhibition at Ceredigion Museum in Aberystwyth opens on the 30th March. Displaying Welsh blankets from my own & The museums` collection. The Exhibition covers Warmth, Livelihood & Craftsmanship in Ceredigion from the Mid 1900s through to present day & includes blankets from all over the county. Madder dyed carthen from Bont & Indigo & a Linen blanket from Talgarreg, Striped Jacobs & natural dyes from Tregaron, Penwern & Maes Y Felin , Drefach. Amongst the many . Some previously unseen images courtesy of Donald Morgan at Rock Mill & Simon Hughes from Lerry Mill. It runs for just over a month over Easter & I hope it will serve to promote some memories & the odd story or two.
