Abbots Model Engineering was born in 2005 when we decided to build a 5" gauge Class 66 "Freightliner" loco, completed in 2006 this loco has clocked up over 1000 miles and many hundreds of hours running around track adjacent to Telford Steam Railway at Horsehay, Telford, it has also visited many other tracks around the country. We are now well established in the model loco fraternity building both 5" and 7¼" gauge loco's and rolling stock
