I recently was asked by a self employed builder (CIS) to give him a quote for my services as he was unsatisfied with the service he was getting from his current accountant, and also the service given. I gave him a quote for my normal fee, which he immediately accepted. I submitted his next tax return, using all legal methods to minimise his tax, and on a turnover of some £26k per annum I got him a tax rebate of over £10 thousand, going back over several years, He advised his friend to come to me, and he got a rebate of £8000.This is not always the case, but using my knowledge of tax legislation, I will reduce YOUR tax to the minimum.
