About Garage Conversions Suffolk
It all started when Paul Laflin converted his own garage into a kitchen breakfast room. And he realised that the cost of this extra living space was far less than a home extension. And after 30 years working in the construction industry, Paul decided to start his own business in Architectural Services and Garage Conversions. In 2014 his son Jamie joined the business as a skilled carpenter and builder, Garage Conversions Suffolk. We offer a Complete Design to Build Service, from the Design & Planning of the project to all the building work and finishes. Most of our work is Home Extensions, Garage Conversions and other Building works. We have an LABC partnering agreement with Building Control at Mid Suffolk District Council for Building Regulation applications. As of 2019, Jamie is now taking a leading role in the business. Garage Conversions Suffolk have just completed a brilliant playroom by converting our garage; Paul and Jamie delivered the drawings and planning exactly to our needs; project managed their sub contractors to complete the project within the promised timescale despite some challenging weather conditions, and we always came back to a tidy home after work had been carried out. We definitely recommend them and we are so pleased with what they have done to adapt our living space to something that meets the needs of our growing family.
A 5 star service from a great team
I sought assistance from the team at Garage Conversions Suffolk when I decided to convert my triple span garage into a one bedroom annexe. The service I received was second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending or using Paul, Jamie and Darren in the future. The whole team are friendly, approachable, hard working and knowledgeable and were able to handle my entire project from pre-planning stage to finished build. Paul Laflin (a brilliant architecht) came up with ideas to maximise the space I had to 'play with', drew up detailed plans and with his great working relationship with the council planning department ensured my dream became a reality. Jamie and Darren (fantastic carpenters) and a whole team of builders, plumbers, electricians and roofers made the 'build' run smoothly. Garage Conversion
We used Garage Conversions Suffolk to convert our garage into a new office. Very pleased with the results. The team were very organised and every trade worked like clockwork. Highly recommended.
These guys are brilliant
Hey these guys are brilliant they converted my garage in to a granny annexe last year and I could not have had a better team to do it they worked hard and all other workers ie plumbers electric painters tiles roofers all came one after the other when needed no hold ups what so ever I have since enjoyed living in my new granny annexe I had a problem with the plumbing the other day phoned Jamie and he came as soon as possible and sorted everything out nothing is to much trouble for these guys thanks will recommend them to anyone
