Skegness Model Village is described by many as one of the best model villages in the country. A complete countryside in miniature with a working funfair, a haunted abbey, a G scale working train and a few more surprises on the way! Built in 1962 by the late John Simmonds it took 2 years to complete and is set in 1/4 of an acre of immaculate gardens. During the month of August the village is illuminated, turning it into a fairyland of lights!Skegness Model Village is open from Easter to October weather permitting.
