Marcon Marine Consultants joins the Braid group of campanies.
Marcon Marine Consultants was founded in 1979 and was taken over by Braid Logistics (UK) Limited, which was originally founded as J.S.Braid & Co., in 1955, with effect from January 2011.Marcon will be integrated into the Braid group of companies, but will continue to trade under the well established trading name of Marcon Marine Consultants, and will continue to offer the same range of marine surveys, and level of service to clients, as previously, covering the whole scope of marine related surveys from leisure craft and workboat surveys, up to surveys on commercial deep sea shipping vessels, and the associated cargo surveys.Braid Logistics (UK) Limited offer a well established ship agency and freight forwarding service to a world wide list of clients, including the provision of specialist services to the project shipment sector for heavy lifts and abnormal loads, and are also recognised as one of the prime providers/operators of ISO tanks and Flexi-tanks.
