PKAG members meet on a regular basis with the representatives of various Perth and Kinross Council Services e.g. Environment, Transport and Housing and Community Care with the aim of effectively addressing any issues regarding disabled access in public sector provision The Scottish Executive supports the Access Panel network through our umbrella organisation the Scottish Disability Equality Forum and as part of it's adherence to Equalities legislation, which identifies Disability as a key area where rights must be promoted along with gender, race, sexual orientation, religion or belief, and age A shift that means full access is incorporated into every facet of Scottish life and that we strive to exceed the legislated minimum and to become a 'model' of what a fully accessible country should look like
