Business profile
Zen is a small family business with 13years experience at the forefront of the spiritual health and well being market. Our appeal is widespread and our customers come from all branches of society.Sylvia had been using plants, herbs and various alternative and complimentary therapies all through her life and had a vision to open up a shop to show people how to take care of themselves, naturally.Serenity was opened on Corporation Street, this was moved to Brindley Place with the name of Zen and the Art of Flower Arranging. Which eventually changed simply to Zen.With another shop opening in Moseley, the two stores have become more and more successful over the years, building up a reputation for educating and informing people. The shops are well known and loved by many people through all walks of life.Zen has also gained a reputation for providing first rate readings and therapies and for hosting events, courses and workshops, from Indian Head massage, to Tarot for Beginners which has been run by Kate Chandler for many years, to a talk from William Rodriguez, the last man out of the World Trade Centre.Have you seen us out and about recently? Zen is becoming increasingly more involved with many social events, charity events and much more!!!We offer something for everyone!! It is very difficult to classify the Zen experience in any one realm - you have to feel it for yourself. Here at Zen the well being of our customers is at the very heart of our business and everything we offer whether it be a product or a service is targeted at making our customers feel good.In the corporate environment we are finding more and more demand for our services/therapies. This could be due to the increasing pressures and stresses of working life and the opening of peoples minds to the opportunity of experiencing new and exciting things. Our range of services is fairly broad but their purpose is well defined; wellbeing, happiness, serenity.
