Pond Cleaning and Maintenance
We maintain and clean any pond from 50 to 10000gallons from general garden ponds, koi ponds, ornamental ponds, fish ponds, wildlife ponds and more. The aim is to create or maintain a clear and healthy pond not just for fish but wildlife as well. When fully cleaning out a pond we try to save at least 50% of your original pond water in various holding tanks. Once all the pond water has been removed all the pond silt and aquatic plants are removed. The pond liner and waterfall are gently scrubbed down as not to damage it and to remove as much pond algae and dirt as possible. The pond liner is then washed down and cleaned. At this point any pond pumps are cleaned and serviced along with any aquatic plants being re-potted and trimmed up. The pond filter is then overhauled. Using pond water as to preserve as much exiting pond bacteria in the filter as possible the filter foams and media are cleaned. A new UVC is installed where nessecary. The original pond water in the holding is returned to the pond to help kick start the biosystem. Any tap water needed to fill the pond is treated with a de-chlorinator.
