To make it easier to put on events and rent a space for the community to use, a few members founded DoES Liverpool CIC in July 2011 We also hold regular events on many topics from specific programming languages like Python and Clojure through to more business focussed events like Lean Liverpool and Saturday Startup Club We also have a selection of electronics equipment, such as soldering irons, and other more traditional tools We've have the fundamentals of a digital fabrication lab: a laser cutter; two 3D printers; and a CNC mill You can find out a bit more about them in our introductory post
