We began trading in early 2000, pioneering internet based standalone Mortgage Protection and Loan Protection via our trading name of FreeInsuranceuk.com and offering the consumer an alternative to high priced high-street policies. We prided ourselves on keeping a small, tight-knit company and listening to our customers needs and by doing so began to understand that they wanted greater flexibility and choice. We worked exclusively with a new underwriter to create an Income Protection Insurance (ASU) policy that provided the innovative and unique option of 3 and 6 month benefit periods to combine with the industry standard of 12 and launched these products on the Ant Insurance website in June 2006.
