It's Great Outdoors provides the opportunity for young people to have fun outdoors reconnecting with Nature, whilst discovering something about themselves and their abilities and learning the social skills they need for life....... Co-operation, assessing risk, solving problems, meeting objectives, being part of a team, exploring ideas, making plans and sharing opinions. It's Great Outdooors! takes small groups out into a woodland setting to teach Bushcraft skills such as firelighting, shelter building, wild camping, navigation, campfire cooking, nature observation, tracking and such like in order to develop the self confidence for young people (and those responsible for them) to get out there and have adventures in wild places.
