I am an Independent Registered Midwife in the Somerset area. I have chosen to work outside the NHS as a self employed independent midwife. I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and am a member of the Independent Midwives UK. I offer a complete private midwifery service in all parts of Somerset.I believe passionately in a woman's ability to birth her baby normally & provide support & information to enable her to make informed choices on how & where to birth. I offer private midwifery care for labour & birth either at home or in hospital. I give sensitive care for women who have had a previously traumatic birth experience . By choosing my private midwifery care you will feel safe & supported throughout your pregnancy, during the birth & postnatally. I have experience of home birth & specialise in water births. I am qualified in maternity hypnotherapy & reflexology & ITEC massage. I have a good selection of lovely books & DVD's that I am happy to lend.
