Synthetic Wigs
Synthetic wigs are made with man-made synthetic fibers and have been perfected in recent years and look more natural. They are also more reasonably priced and can be dyed and chemically altered to fit a personal request. They cannot tolerate the multiple use of hair dye products, and do not style well with heat styling such a blow drying, using a curling iron or a flat iron. They are easy to maintain, requiring no shampooing; and, despite the fact that they do not tolerate excessive heat styling, they have a "memory" that allows them to maintain a certain style if need be on important occasions. Washing the wig will result in the loss of this memory.
