Birth with a known midwife has been proven to:- increase the likelihood of a normal birth- shorten labour and decrease the need for pain relief- improve maternal satisfaction and breastfeeding ratesI am an experienced, sensitive midwife who works with clients to help obtain the best possible experience at this special time. I can support you through pre-conception, pregnancy, birth and into early parenthood. I have a strong belief in the normal physiological process of birth and predominantly attend women choosing to give birth at home. I am experienced in birth education, waterbirth and VBAC and have supported women giving birth to twins and breech babies. I am happy to travel up to one hour from home, this means I cover parts of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.
