NWESSR is the prime Rescue organisation for English Springer Spaniels in the North West, specifically Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, North Wales and West Yorkshire. Our Kennels are also based in the North West.We do however have a network of trusted people across mainland UK, who can perform home checks, ferry dogs etc. This means that we do operate in all regions of England, Wales (including the Isle of Man) but have also rehomed, or had dogs surrendered from, Scotland as well.In some areas of Scotland we may be limited due to volunteers approved by NWESSR. NWESSR will take any English Springer Spaniel wherever it comes from and do in fact take dogs from Ireland/Northern Ireland. In the past we have taken a dog from Kent, found in a ditch and unwanted by other rescues. Even difficult dogs can be rehomed and some of our dogs now serve with the Police, Fire and Prison Service - We will never turn away any Springer !!
