This is a district which offers forest walks marked by Forest Enterprise, a 20 minute walk to the Sound of Mull and Lochaline Ferry Terminal. Numerous seabirds include herons feeding their young, birds of prey, buzzards, hawks, eagles, owls and many small forest birds. Good location for south, west and north. Shops are a 10 minute drive or use the bus service. Pitches for camping and caravanning are also available with a choice of wild sites where you can camp in privacy or organised pitches with electric hook-ups.
