Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and we are so pleased to be able to offer you the facilities to hold your civil ceremony. We will make sure that The Old Vicarage is exactly how you had always dreamt it would be, because nobody better understands that this day belongs to you both. Our experienced manager will be on hand to help you every step of the way, including advice on wedding etiquette and help with the legal requirements. Knowing that you are in expert hands, you can both relax and enjoy every moment of your special day. The newly licenced Pergola at The Old Vicarage stands overlooking the shallow banks of the river Poulter. The pergola can be lit with ceremony candle to provide a feature for your lighting and the power supply can be used for both ceremony music for the entrance of the bride and the exit of the newlyweds. Within the Vicarage you are met with more splendour, a beautiful Oak hallway and doors bearing the trade mark of Mousey Thompson, the famous Yorkshire wood carver leading into the Osbourne Suite. With a fabulous marble fireplace and oak doors, this offers all the delights of a bygone age. In keeping with this are the patio doors opening onto the extended Yorkshire stone patio providing views of the stunning panoramic surroundings of the grounds down to the river's edge and beyond.
