Hand thrown pots for the home.
I make pots for the home using the Potters' wheel from Stoneware clay. Working at my rural workshop at the heart of the Norfolk Broads I enjoy photographing the farming activities around me. The abstracted patterns inform the surfaces of my work. My favourite glaze is obtained by recycling Norfolk Thatching reed after it has been removed from the roof of a local house. By burning the reed I can use the ash as part of my glaze, it produces a lovely natural khaki green glaze.For more images of my work please go to :
