OPM Spotless printing technology
OPM & R3 are proud to launch Spotless Printing technology.   OPM and established repro and plate maker Reproflex 3 have jointly developed the first spotless colour book utilising the recently launched Kodak Spotless colour management tool. After 6 months of exhaustive beta testing the partnership are confident in delivering consistent accurate spot colours. The system is built on a solid understanding of what each print process component can deliver, coupled with a scientific colour management control and housekeeping the  OPM-Spotless Printing delivers the designer's intent with fewer compromises which are generally associated with the flexo process.  The topic of spot color replacement in flexo printing was one of a number of hot topics being discussed live on the Kodak stand, Hall 9, Stand 9F70. Label Expo Sept. 28-Oct.1 in the Brussels Expo, Belgium. Kodak welcomed Chris Ellison MD and Andrew Hewitson (Reproflex Joint MD)and a variety of other industry experts to participate in panel discussions scheduled every day throughout the show at the K-Zone on the Kodak booth. Chris and Andrew also joined another debate with Kodak at the London Packaging Innovation Show 6-7 Oct to discuss the benefits of NX Plates and Spotless Printing Technology.
